Well....

Life hasn't decided to slow down for me yet...

We have had a hectic schedule hence why this post is long overdue.

In between swimming carnivals and club nights, dad having a heartattack, town band,Australia Day and getting the girls ready for school especially kayley going into high school this year...eak!!I don't know where i have fitted my scrapping in to be honest..LOL..

Aust Day

The girls played in the town band while Bridget had her face painted..

Later we went to the pool to relax..

Kayley has decided to start shaving early...no only kidding! The girls went over to a friends house and decided that shaving cream and water fights were the best way to beat the heat...

And i did not cry. My eldest went to high school...bought back so many memories of me going and kayley has even got a couple of teachers that taught me!!!

This is my fav shot...i told her to give mum a wave goodbye..
It was pooring down rain and we told the girls we would drive them down the road so they wouldn't get wet...no they were to cool for this!!

Now for the scrapping part. I told you it was going to be long...LOL.

Bird Is the Word

We have a new word today!! You will have the next four weeks to create a project using the word JOURNEY.

You may like to use this sketch designed by Mary Thomas

Here is my layout. I wanted to go for the old look. This is my dad sitting on an old car. I don't know if this was their car...I'm thinking not after dad telling me they had no shoes to walk to school in..LOL

If you would like to have a go and we welcome all scrappers around the world you can check this word out and many more here.

Scrapmatts

Lots happening..

We have had some new additions to our already fantastic DT and lots of new challenges planned for the year ahead.

February's Challenge

How to Play:

As February is the month of love, Cathy Cafun decided to have a word challenge. Use the word "LOVE" anywhere on your LO, card, ATC or OTP. The word can be in your title, journaling or on an embellishment. You don't have to create a romantic page, as you could use the word to convey something you love to do, to eat, to wear... the ideas are endless!!

I also have 2 other criteria for this challenge which are:

1. Have a heart (can be more than 1) somewhere on your project

2. To use some paint on your creation also.

To be eligible to win the prize, your creation MUST also have Scrapmatts on it.
Members need to upload their entry into the gallery by the end of the month and call it 'February Challenge'.

Here is my example:

We can't wait to see your scrappy creations in our now " BIG " and growing gallery.

Kraft It Up

This month is the month of LOVE, dont get scared and think this challenge is just about husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend love, I am opening this challenge up to LOVE in general.
HOWEVER I do want to see PINK on your layout somewhere and of coure your layouts must be created on Kraft CS or Kraft PP.

To be in the running for one of the above prizes please like your entry here by 11.59 29th February.

Unfortunately i can't reveal my first layout for KIU as it may be published in Scrapbooking Memories. But here is a sneak peak:

Purple Pumpkin

This months sketch has been designed by Crece

Here is my layout:

And a few close ups:

It was a great sketch as it had both straight lines and circles combined. If you would like to see the rest of all the DT creations and more Purple Pumpkin embellishments, then you should visit here.

The Scrapbooking Haven

This month we have 2 sketches:

Again i am unable to show you my layout as Scrapbooking Memories have contacted me for publishing but here is a sneak peak.

And last of all my BIG news:

I am now on the Shop and Crop design team. I have always loved this site and i get monthly kits delivered to me for years. Kylie Tout was who inspired me way back then, so that made me want to try out too. The owner who is also Kylie asked me to design this months Cropoholics Kit. My head began to spin. Just the thought of designing for Shop and Crop but actually seeing my work up on their website....wow!!!

So these are my layouts:

There are only a few kits left. You can find them here.

I so enjoyed doing this kit after the butterflies left my stomach...LOL.

Anyway.....

Did you get through everything??? Told you i have lots to share.

I have some more exciting news to tell later this month but you will have to wait till then...

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
